Does the blue/black hair dyes come out blue, or do they come out just black?

I was thinking of dying my hair blue/black.

The colour i want to use is the semi-perminent Nikki Clark range, and its called Liquorice.

My hair at the moment is medium brown and im not sure if it will suit.

If you have used this colour before or anything simular can you please tell me what the colour comes out like, and how long it lasts.

When I tried a blue-black hair dye on medium brown hair, it really looked blue-black, and it didn't ever come out. I think it was described as permanent though.

it will last a while like around a month and a half most likely...and it comes out blue/black

I have blonde hair so we might be different but I died my hair a "Midnight Blue", it went to blue then eventually faded brown. I haven't re-died it and it was only some tips.

It comes out black but when the light shines on it its a bluey colour. I've used that colour in the past (not the same make) and its nice. It'll probably last around 4 weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair.

by the color licorice, it will come out blue, i dyed my extensions koolaide purple which turned out to look like the color licorice and when i dyed it it came out real dark teal, and came out as ai watched it to a turquoise, then light blue.

but i was really satisfied with the color.
