Blonde hair blue eyes............?

so my high school semi formal is coming up in a couple weeks and i really need a dress! im in grade 11. i was just wondering what color dress would look good on me? im 5'7", 115llb. i have long platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. kinda tanned but not really anymore lol. All l i know right now is that i want a short dress (above the knee). what color would look best on me. i dont want black. i was thinking maybe blue, red or gold. but im not sure. my boyfriend thinks red would look good...but im not sure. ...and if you have any makeup tips (for eyeshadow) that would be appreciated! thanks alot! :)

Dazzeling red dress with some black somewhere (stripes, pattern, polka dot, wherever) will do the trick. If you don't want red, go with soft pink with some white. Blondes look nice in pink. I wouldn't worry about length - any is fine.

Add some shimmery light brown eyeshadow and brown eyeliner to play out your eyes a bit.

blue would look good it would compliment your eyes.. red would also.. i think it depends on the "style" of the dress and what it looks like... best thing to do is go shopping with accouple of friends (grils preferbly cause guys will say anything looks good) and try on some dresses for semi formal.. go for the style of the dress and how it suits you when its on rather then blankly going for one color and minimizing your options.. if u know what i mean!

If you go red, go a dark red. Something in the "crimson" to "wine" range. This will show your coloring off very nicely, be appropriate as evening wear and is MUCh more sophisticated than a bright red. I think it will be striking.

Nearly all colors of blue will also work, but will be more understated.
