Dying dark hair blue?

I want to streak my hair either blue or green. My hair is sort of damaged and poofy already from past dyes. I found this dye at Hot Topic that didn't show u pon my hair and since I go to a school that doesn't allow un-natural hair color, so I can only have it for the summer, how do I get it to show up and get rid of it for next year?

at the start of the holidays, go to the hairdressers or do it at home, bleach streaks of your hair really pale. My hair is a dark brown and I had to leave the bleach on for about 45 minutes.

Next, get some TEMPORARY dye (i used fudge paintbox or rusk scream!) and dye the bleached parts. When the colour finally washes out, you can dye your hair back to your natural colour.

you have to bleach it up pretty light in order to put the color in.

idk blue might not stand out to much with your already black hair though. (i'm guessing from your icon)

but uh yeah, you'll just have to dye it back when school starts.

Bleach your hair and then get some SpecialFX dye. I hear it's the best dye for unnatural colors. Maybe get someone to help you so you don't screw your hair up.
