Tall, Black Hair, Blue Eyes, and pale skin..?

Hey - I'm 14 years old and a male. :) People make fun of my pale skin and im not entirely happy with it. i'd like to change it. and i asked this exact same question 40 minutes but didnt get me anywhere. Just asking if i can darken my skin without using beauty products that girls use. =) tried laying in the sun but that gets me nowhere. perhaps a sun bed? i dont know. Although asking people on the internet about yourself is prolly considered "Gay" by some people, i dont care. just curious. Anything i could use that would gradually build up a natural tan without burning my skin. Ta, -Tomz.

I think guys look better with pale skin, then with a fake tan, that looks orange.

You sound like a cutie :)

don't change

Be happy with your paleness.

I would rather be pale and healthy than be tan and have skin cancer.

I think pale skin is extremely hot, but my best friend thinks it's the ugliest thing on a guy. For every girl who likes something there's another who is the complete opposite. Don't look to the stupid, conformist, "tan, sexy" guys for guidance, variety is the spice of life.

I think pale skin is unique, because every guy born with it runs out and gets tan, which looks disgusting by the way..

Sun bed - bad bad BAAAD idea. They cause cancer. And that's not paranoia, they are directly linked with causing cancer, just like lying in the sun does. There's a massive media scuffle here in Australia about a girl in her early 20's who just died from the cancer she developed as a result of her continual sun bed/solarium use.

Ok, so aside from the lecture, which I'm sorry about, there's products that will give you a gradual tan - they're moisturisers which, when you use them every day, they will give you a tanned look in about a week, and will stay that way as long as you keep using the product.

You don't want "girly" products - understandable, but as far as I know, there's nothing on the market (yet) called "man tan" - so at least the moisturiser stuff is kind of discreet, doesn't come in bright pink packaging, and there's no risk of you getting orange streaks. I don't know which country you're in, but here there's one called "holiday skin" and I think it comes in a pale yellow bottle. I know many guys who use it. Maybe they hide it in the back of their bathroom cabinet, but they do use it...

There's nothing wrong with pale skin, there's also nothing wrong with wanting to look a bit tanned - however there IS something wrong with blasting yourself with ageing, cell-damaging, health destroying UVA and UVB rays. And by the sounds of it you have fair skin, which in the sun only burns then peels, without much hint of the golden brown you're looking for. So go with the gradual stuff. And good luck.

I love those features on a guy. and australian? dang. I wouldn't change a thing. Be happy with yourself.

Pale skin is gorgeous, and too much sun exposure isn't health. If you get black tea (English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast, Earl Grey) and rub the wet tea bags on your skin it might help stain it darker, it works on fair hair too. Emplace your pale if you can't change, there isn't anything bad about it. In Medieval times, pale skin was adorn.

I think you may want to try "spray tanning," it will help build up a more natural looking color, and it won't damage your skin like a bed will. Be sure to go to a reputable tanning salon, and let them test the product on the inside of your wrist a day or two before doing your whole body, just to be sure you don't have an allergy. Hope that helps.
