it will fade to a littler blue in a few weeks. by one month it will be sea foem blue/green. then by 2 months like kinda moldy green, tehen real light blondish green

Every hair dye has a base color. Like with blacks theres blue, green, and red bases, and thats the color its fades to, usually in about a week to a week and a half of daily washing. My coworker dyed her blond hair black with a blue based dye, which she thot would look nice, but really only the first day. When it faded it had a greyish blue hue that she hated. (Btw, they fade a lot even tho theyre supposed to be permanent) So you have to be real careful about judging the base, and if you dont trust your judgement, consult a proffessional.

I color my reddish hair redder and avoid purplish reds (blu base). Sometimes they turn out on the purplish side even tho the dye doesent appear to have blu base. I have stuck with an Herbal Essences shade for 4 yrs.

First of all, all you guys should answer the question....not call the person asking the question a freak. That's pretty rude.

Regarding the blue hair: I dyed my hair blue and hot pink about 4 months ago. Special Effects hair dye is awesome. How long it will lasts depends on how often you shampoo your hair because it's semi-permanent. "Blue Mayhem" turns purple (After about a month, if you don't wash your hair everyday) and then really light purple (my hair is really, really light after 4 months).

For best results your hair should be as close to white as possible. I ended up with green hair when I was trying to dye my hair "Fishbowl" (teal), over YELLOW bleached hair. So, remember, yellow and blue make green. I hope this helped...and ignore all these boring idiots. I personally love having crazy hair!
