Unbleached hair blue??

Unbleached hair blue??

It would depend on the dye you are using to make it blue, some look really good as accents when it is not bleached first, and some don't.

I noticed you didn't have a product name listed, you might try manic panic. They have awesome stuff and it wont damage your hair. It does take some up keep though, but it does a great job of highlighting. I have used it to highlight my medium brown hair red. It looked really good.

I would suggest you figure out what you want to do blue and do that first then keep it out of the way while you dye the rest of your hair dark. Other wise it might not show up as well on your dark hair. Plus the contrast of the lighter hair will show the color more.

Using a vegetable dye such as Manic Panic or Special Effects over darker hair may give a sheen or hint of colour but it may only be noticeable in certain lights and also would normally fade much quicker. You can mix special effects colours together to make a more customised shade so even if you bleached your hair you could use a darker blue or even something like Manic Panics Blue Black or After Midnight BLue - both of which are darker blue colours without the 'neon' look of some blues.
