Blue hair bleach?

I saw it..is there a difference between it and regular bleach? I also head about blue based bleach and violet based...what does it mean? and how can i lighten my permanent hair? its dyed permanent black and my natural hair color is dark brown.

Blue hair bleach?

I would Never suggest using Bleach - Unless you want the chance of your hair breaking off.

A salon store, with someone knowable - should be able to show you have to lighten, but may take stages.

Blue hair bleach?

Regular bleach lightens hair without toning, exposing any underlying undertones. Blue based bleach had a blue toner additive, which helps to neutralize orange tones exposed by bleaching, while violet based bleach neutralizes yellow undertones. However, without proper knowledge of the color wheel, how much chemical manipulation hair can withstand, and corrective application, at home bleaching can go very, very wrong. It is best to consult a hairstylist, because lightening previously colored hair (particularly black), is very difficult and potentially very damaging, and the toning abilities of any bleach is very unlikely to be enough, and a separate toner or color application will probably be needed, depending on your hair color goal.
