Ive recently ad an accident with hair die agen and im getting pretty sick of it. Its gone blue. But im not dyeing it again because im worried about the condition of my hair so ive decided to let it fade, everyones recomending all kinds of different stuff like fair liquid?!?! tescos value shampoo and all this other stuff that will strip the colour out quicker. but im worried sick my hair will go grey im far to young to have grey! lol well please help me! xxxxxxxxxx

You should use a salon quality repair shampoo. Anything made for repairing hair really. Since you are dying your hair unordinary colours, try using a reapir shampoo from now on. Then, wait 2 weeks so you hair has time to regenerate, then dye it again. Unordinary colours fade faster, so try a brown which is least noticable when its fading. The colour it fades to all depends on the undertones, if it was a black/blue it will likely fade to blackish green. If it was a light blue, it will fade to a gray with blue undertones. Your natural hair wont just turn gray, but if you have blonde natural hair it may take awhile for your natural blonde to rid itself of the blue untertones. I suggest getting a gentle dye like garnier and dying it your natural colour. You wont need a strong dye to correct this. Or start using John Frieda colour gloss after a repair shampoo and conditioner in your natural colour. Over time it will help correct the problem. Good luck

when i died my hair it was blue and i had the same idea as you did to let it fade. it took forever and it started to look purple. i suggest that you die it back to you orginal hair color two weeks from when you put the blue die in. use a die that has lots of conditioners in it and a good pH balance. but your hair shouldn't turn grey so dont worry.

if your worried about re dieing your hair on top of that colour

you should uuse a pr lightener which will strip the colour completely and leave it a very yellow blonde which you can die over any colour you want =]

When I bleached my very dark hair, then dyed it blue it faded to a mix of gray, green, and purple. Looked pretty cool, actually.

If you want to get rid of the color or correct it, I would strongly suggest going to a professional colorist. It might be a pricier option than extra shampoo, but the results will be much better!
