Why did my hair turn blue?

I died my hair black with Jazzing bluest black hair dye and now my hair has a blueish tint. It isn't black at all. I wanted black with red tips and now I have blue hair. The color swatch of hair with this color didn't look blue to me. What do I do now someone help immediately!!!

That happens with blue based black dyes sometimes. I have a friend who had platinum (and when I say platinum, I mean it) hair, and dyed it with "blue black" dye, and her hair came out VIOLET. It has to do with the tones and color in your hair. I would say dye it again, or leave it, though blue doesn't look good on most people. Maybe it's just a trick of the light.

Your idea sounded great. im not sure that you should re-dye it, though. you could cut it short so it will grow out faster or wear ribbons and headbands and clips to draw the attention away from the color. Maybe not wear black for a while. be creative! good luck!

What color was your hair before you put Jazzing on it? Was your hair dyed or natural blonde? Hair that's too light or colored already would pick up the base tone, which is blue, and not get fully covered. You need to go to a salon and have them go over it. If you try to fix it yourself, you'll just overprocess your hair and then it will be harder to fix, even in a salon.

i'd see a hairdresser, they'll be able 2 strip the color andre-dye it, ant they could help with the tips, but if u want 2 go do it yourself, then i'd get black hairdye, just black, no blue tint or whatever, just PLAIN BLACK, and re-dye

Well... when u bought it, did u read 'Jazzing bluest black '? Bluest. Well, i saw on yahoo avatars that when u put ur hair black, it gets some tint of blue. Try finding a way to make ur hair look good. But if u really h8 it, then it's best to dye ur hair in black using another brand.

a true black actually has a little bit of blue hue to it. as it fades off it you are left with the tone, which is in this case is blue. it is very common for people to have this issue when using at home color. i suggest using the darkest brown haircolor as it is what you have in mind as black.
